Colour as matter

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se věnuji možnostem vnímání barevné hmoty barvy a jejího účinku na přesah do další dimenze obrazu, tedy třetího rozměru. Stěžejním centrem se stává praktická část sestávající z cyklu maleb různých rozměrů, které vygradují až k opovrhnutí konzervativním pohledem na tradiční formát obrazu. V doprovodném textu jsou popsány asociace provázející průběh tvorby, které měly významný podíl na utváření konečných linií celé produkce. Doprovodný text praktické práce obsahuje fotodokumentaci děl, které se stávají ilustrací kapitol.

Abstract:

My thesis is focused on possibilities of perception of color mass of colour and its effect on overlap into the next dimension of painting, the third dimension. A practical part consisting of series of paintings of various sizes, which escalates up to scorn by the conservative view on traditional format of painting, is becoming the main center. The accompanying text describes associations accompanying the process of creating, which had a significant share in the formation of the final lines of the whole production. Accompanying text of the practical work contains photographs of works that become illustration of chapters.
