Ve druhé polovině 20. století nastala v souvislosti se zvyšujícím znečištěním potřeba hodnotit rozptylové podmínky, tedy podmínky určující schopnost atmosféry rozptylovat znečišťující příměsi. Informace o rozptylových podmínkách se postupem času stala nedílnou součástí předpovědi počasí. Abstract:
The need to evaluate the dispersion conditions was linked to the increasing air pollution in the second half of the 20th century. Dispersion conditions describe the ability of the atmosphere to disperse pollutants.
