Abstract:

Dizertační práce se zabývá vývojem českého marxistického myšlení o literatuře od dvacátých do poloviny padesátých let dvacátého století. Cílem práce je porovnat období první republiky se situací po převratu v roce 1948 a vysledovat případné změny, ke kterým v této době došlo. Klíčové je zkoumání hypotézy, zda politická institucionalizace marxismu v padesátých letech měla vliv na proměnu z něj vycházející estetické koncepce a zda tedy lze v prvních třiceti letech české marxistické literární vědy identifikovat více odlišných přístupů sdílejících společné označení. Analýzou teoretického, kritického a politického diskurzu práce usiluje rozpoznat klíčové problémy, kterým byla ve zvoleném období věnována největší pozornost. Zkoumání se orientuje na diskuse, které provázely formování české marxistické estetiky a které chápe jako okamžiky výraznějších redefinic literárněvědných kritérií. Pozornost je věnována diskusi mezi poetistickým Devětsilem a expresionistickou Literární skupinou, generačním sporům na konci dvacátých let a utváření levicové avantgardy v letech třicátých. Druhá polovina práce se věnuje raným padesátým letům, zejména otázce kontinuity s dosavadním vývojem umění a roli, kterou měla v socialistickém státě hrát meziválečná avantgarda.

Abstract:

Dissertation thesis deals with the evolution of Czech Marxist literary thinking from the twenties to the half of fifties of twentieth century. The aim of the thesis is to compare the age of First Czechoslovak republic with the situation after the revolution in February 1948 and to find possible changes. There is a key hypothesis if political institutionalisation of Marxism in early fifties resulted into the transformation of consecutive aesthetic conception and if we can identify more different approaches under one denomination in the first thirty years of Czech Marxist literary science. Analysing the theoretical, critical and political discourse, the thesis aims to identify the key problems which were examined in the selected period. The discussions as the moments of redefinition of criteria are observed. The thesis focuses on the discussion between Poetist group Devětsil and expressionist Literary Group; the so called Generational Discussion in the end of twenties and the formation of left-wing Avant-garde in thirties are analyzed too. The second part of the thesis focuses on the first part of fifties, particularly in the question of continuity with previous evolution of art and the role that was given to the Avant-garde in socialist country.
