Abstract:

Diplomová práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do 4 kapitol a následných podkapitol. První kapitola se snaží představit historický pohled na ženu, její postavení a roli ve společnosti, vývoj genderové identity a dále zmíním významné body životního cyklu ženy. Druhá kapitola přibližuje současné postavení ženy v české společnosti. Jak vypadá trh práce a možnosti najít zaměstnání, jak se žena rozhoduje v situacích, kdy musí volit mezi rodinou a prací, atd. Třetí kapitola navazuje na předchozí a naopak představuje současnou situaci, jak stát podporuje rodinu, ukotvení v zákoně, rozlišení mateřské a rodičovské dovolené. Poslední kapitola v teoretické části je zaměřena na rodinu. Rozdělila jsem tradiční a moderní typ rodiny a následně zmínila genderové stereotypy a uspořádání rolí v rodině. Praktická část je zaměřena konkrétně na ženy na rodičovské dovolené, které buď přemýšlí o návratu do zaměstnání, nebo jsou již ve fázi hledání práce. Cílem je odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku - Jaké životní strategie používají ženy při návratu z rodičovské dovolené na trh práce? Na základě výzkumné otázky jsme považovali za nejvhodnější kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii a k analýze jsme využili zakotvenou teorii.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis consists of the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters and several subchapters. The first chapter describes the development of woman from the historical point of view: her status and role in the society, the trend of the gender identity and important points of the life cycle of woman. The second chapter explains the current status of woman in the Czech society; the situation of the work of labor, woman’s chances to find a work and how woman decides in situations when she has to choose between family and work. The third chapter is related to the second chapter and presents the current situation; how the state supports family, rights confirmed in law and differentiation of maternity and parental leave. The last chapter of the theoretical part is concentrated on family and its conventional and modern type. It also deals with gender stereotypes and the organization of roles in family. The practical part focuses on the women who are on maternity leave and think about return to the labor market or are already looking for some employment. The aim of the thesis is to answer the main research question: What kind of living strategies use women when they return back to the labor market from maternity leave? On the basis of this research question was used the qualitative method and to analysis was applied the grounded theory.
