Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit názory Petera Singera na hodnotu lidského života a jeho postoj k vybraným bioetickým problémům - potratům, infanticidě a eutanázii. Pozornost bude věnována Singerově kritice principu posvátnosti života, jeho teorii osoby, možnostem časového vymezení lidského života a praktickým důsledkům jeho teorie. Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce Peter Singer's thoughts on the value of human life and his attitude towards certain controversial bioethical issues - abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. The thesis covers Singer's critique of the "sanctity of life" principle, his theory of persons, possible demarcation of human life and practical consequences of his theories.
