This diploma thesis deals with the metamorphoses of a myth of Don Juan in the three plays of the 20th century - La Derni?re Nuit de Don Juan by Edmond Rostand, Ornifle ou le Courant d'air by Jean Anouilh et La nuit de Valognes by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. These chosen plays are minutely analyzed and compared with the version written by Moliere, Dom Juan ou Le Festin de Pierre. The main focus is placed …more

Ce mémoire traite des métamorphoses du mythe donjuanesque dans les trois pieces choisies de XXe siecle - La Derniere Nuit de Don Juan d'Edmond Rostand, Ornifle ou le Courant d'air de Jean Anouilh et La nuit de Valognes d'Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
