Disertační práce je zaměřena na popis krystalové struktury přijímačové domény receptorové histidin kinázy CKI1 (Cytokinin-independent 1) z Arabidopsis thaliana. Přijímačová doména CKI1 se účastní vnitrobuněčné signalizace v tzv. dvoukomponentním systému, jehož současně známé strukturně-funkční vlastnosti jsou shrnuty v úvodu práce. Ph.D. thesis is focused in description of the crystal structure of receiver domain of the sensory histidine-kinase CKI1 (Cytokinin-independent 1) from Arabidopsis. CKI1 is involved in intracellular signaling through Two-component system. Structure-function properties of Two-component systems are described in the introduction of Ph.D. thesis.
