Manipulation in partner relationships

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o manipulaci v partnerském vztahu, ve kterém je žena obětí. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na problematiku manipulace a jednotlivých manipulativních technik využívaných manipulátory. Současně se zabývá následky života s manipulujícím partnerem. Praktická část objasňuje situace soužití s manipulátorem. Vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu, který se skládá z podrobných případových studií. Tyto studie směřují k analýze možných příčin manipulace, popisuji její projevy a na závěr shrnují následky manipulativního jednání pro oběť. V práci také uvedeny možnosti obrany proti manipulativnímu chování.

Abstract:

The theses deals with manipulation in relationship, where the woman is a victim. The theoretical part summarizes information about manipulation and individual manipulative techniques, which are used by manipulators. Simultaneously, I also deal with the consequences of life with a manipulating partner. The practical part analyses possible causes of manipulation, describes its manifestations and deals with the issue of coexistence with a manipulator, which is based on qualitative research consisting of detailed case studies. In resume I summarize the consequences of manipulative behaviour for the victim. Besides, I present the possibilities of defense against manipulative behavior in this theses.
