Current status of gene therapies

Abstract:

Začátek práce je věnován historii genové terapie. Dále se práce zmiňuje o možnostech přenosu genu do buněk a jeho působení uvnitř buňky. Jsou zde popsány některé z možných aplikací pro léčbu geneticky podmíněných onemocnění. Na posledních stranách se práce zabývá etickými aspekty genové terapie.

Abstract:

Start of thesis is devoted to the history of gene therapy. Furthermore the thesis alludes to the possibilities of gene transfer into cells and its effect imide the cell. It describes some possible applications for the treatment of genetic diseases. On the last pages, it deals with ethical aspects of gene therapy
