Genetic algorithms and their applications
Abstract:
In this thesis we study genetic algorithms and their applications in economics. We describe the basic structure of genetic algorithms and their characteristics and we explain how they work. We illustrate how they are used for modelling inflation dynamics in economies with heterogeneous agents and we use them to test a technical trading rule on forex market.
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme genetickým algoritmům a jejich aplikacím v ekonomii. Popisujeme základní strukturu genetických algoritmů, jejich charakteristiky a princip jejich fungování. Jejich použití ilustrujeme na dvou modelech vývoje inflace v prostředí s heterogenními agenty a na testování pravidla technického obchodování na forexovém trhu.
