Tourism in Carlsbad region and culture of Czech German's

Abstract:

The theme of this work is Tourism in Carlsbad region and the culture of Czech German´s. The work is divided into six main chapters. In the first chapter is described the history of Czech German´s and their coexistence with Czech population in the border region into 1945. The next chapter deals with the culture and its impact on tourism in Carslbad region. The third chapter is focused on spa triangle constituted by cities Karlovy Vary, Františkovy Lázně and Mariánské Lázně. The main objective of this work is to outline the social life in Carlsbad region, specifically in Mariánské Lázně, which describes the beginnings of the culture life in the city.

Abstract:

Tématem práce je Cestovní ruch v Karlovarském kraji a kultura českých Němců. Práce je rozdělena do šesti hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole je popsána historie sudetských Němců a jejich soužití s českým obyvatelstvem v pohraničí do roku 1945. Další kapitola pojednává o kultuře a jejím vlivu na cestovní ruch na Karlovarsku. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na takzvaný lázeňským trojúhelník tvořený městy Karlovy Vary, Františkovy Lázně a Mariánské Lázně. Hlavním cílem této práce je nastínění společenského života na Karlovarsku a to konkrétně v Mariánských Lázních, kde jsou popsány počátky kulturního dění ve městě.
