Abstract:

Tento text je doprovodným slovem k praktické části, která je experimentem se starými rodinnými fotografickými negativy. Prostřednictvím své práce se snažím pochopit své kořeny, upozornit na důležitost rodiny a v poslední řadě poukázat na rozpady rodinných systémů v dnešní době. Obsahem práce je historie rodinné fotografie, rodinná psychologie a význam symbolu. V poslední nejobsáhlejší kapitole popisuji postup tvorby a použité materiály. Název Kořeny odkazuje nejen na rodinné kořeny, ale i na starou techniku vyvolávání, která byla trendem našich předků.

Abstract:

This is a supplementary text to the practical part of the thesis, which is an experiment with negatives of old family photographs. The aim of the thesis is to help me understand my ancestral roots, point out the importance of family and highlight the disintegration of family systems in modern times. The thesis consists of introduction to the history of the family photograph, family psychology and meaning of symbols. The last and most extensive chapter of the thesis describes the creative process and used materials. The name - Roots - refers to both genealogical roots and the old techniques of developing pictures utilized by our ancestors.
