Op-art in Garments

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa venuje op-artu a jeho výrazovým prostriedkom v móde, maľbe, grafike a vo fotografii. Zo zistených informácii následne prepája určité op-artové prvky s vplyvmi súčasného sveta a jeho médiami. Teoretická časť sa taktiež zaoberá rôznymi autormi, ktorí mali priamí vplyv na tvorbu práce, rozborom ich tvorby a verejných výstav. Praktická časť záverečnej práce popisuje proces tvorby od prvotného rešeršu, vznik autorskej potlače, vplyv rôznych médií a programov, až do následnej realizácie odevnej kolekcie. Výsledkom sa tak následne stáva odevná kolekcia dominantných siluet vyvodených z geometrických tvarov, ktorá pozorovateľa vťahuje do bližšieho kontaktu s výsledným produktom za použitia médii.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on op-art and its means of expression in fashion design, painting, graphic design, and photography. The thesis aims to connect op-art elements with contemporary influences of the modern world and its media. The theoretical part describes different authors who had a direct influence on the creative process and analyzes their work. The practical part of the bachelor thesis describes the creative work process from the first research, the author's print, and the influence of programs all resulting in an original fashion collection. The final result, a collection of striking silhouettes made from geometrical shapes draws the viewer into closer contact with the product using new media. shapes draws the viewer into closer contact with the product using new media.
