Doubts in the collection and transport of material for histopathological examination in perioperative care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rizikem pochybení při práci s histologickým materiálem v perioperační péči. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení perioperační péče, popisuje problematiku správné práce s histologickým vzorkem a zároveň se zabývá i kritickými body, které mohou vést k pochybení v jednotlivých fázích. V poslední části se pak zaobírá pojmem nežádoucí událost a pochybení. Praktická část se zabývá sběrem dat pomocí dotazníkového šetření, vytvořeného na základě standardu daného zařízení. Analýzou shromážděných dat poté vyhodnocuje nejprve znalosti sester, pracujících na operačních sálech a následně i procentuální míru setkání s nežádoucí událostí či skoro nežádoucí událostí v jednotlivých oblastech.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the risk of errors when working with histological material in perioperative care. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of perioperative care, describes the issue of correct work with the histological sample and at the same time deals with critical points that can lead to errors in individual phases. The last part deals with the concept of undesirable event and misconduct. The practical part deals with data collection using a questionnaire created based on the standard of the given facility. By analyzing the collected data, it first evaluates the knowledge of the nurses working in the operating theaters and then also the percentage rate of encounters with adverse events or near-adverse events in individual areas.
