The use of wet wound healing at particular hospital wards

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem práce bylo zjistit využití vlhkého hojení ran ve třech ostravských nemocnicích. Dále zjistit znalosti sester o vlhké metodě hojení ran, zda mají zájem získávat nové poznatky. Zjistit význam sester specialistek. Metodika: Soubor tvořilo 82 středních zdravotnických pracovníků. Průzkum probíhal formou nestandardizovaných dotazníků v lednu a v únoru roku 2010 na chirurgických odděleních. Data byla zpracována v MS Excel do tabulek a grafů. Výsledky: V průzkumu bylo zjištěno, že převážná většina sester má takové znalosti, aby zvládly ošetřit ránu. Když si neví rady, mohou se obrátit na sestru specialistku, čehož využívá téměř většina respondentů z Fakultní a Městské nemocnice. Jen polovina respondentů z Vítkovické nemocnice konzultuje se sestrou specialistkou. Větší polovina respondentů z Fakultní i Městské nemocnice má zájem o získávání nových poznatků, dotazování z Vítkovické nemocnice už takový zájem nemají. Polovina tázaných respondentů si myslí, že jejich pracoviště nemá k dispozici všechen potřebný materiál, většina z nich se domnívá, že je to vysokou cenou moderního krycího materiálu. Závěr: Znalosti sester o vlhkém hojení a dobré vybavení oddělení materiály pro vlhké hojení jsou základem úspěšného vyléčení rány. Sestra specialistka, která pravidelně navštěvuje semináře, by měla správně vést zdravotnický tým ke správnému postupu léčení rány.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim was to determine the use of moist wound healing of three hospitals in Ostrava. Furthermore, to determine knowledge of nurses about the wet method of healing, whether they are able to acquire new findings.. Find out the importance of special nurses. Methods: The group consisted of 82 nursing staff. The survey was conducted through questionnaires in January and February 2010 on surgical wards. The data were processed in Microsoft Excel into tables and graphs. Results: The survey found that the vast majority of nurses have the knowledge to tackle treat the wound. When they don´t know what to do, they can contact the nurse specialist, which uses almost the majority of respondents from the Faculty Hospital and City Hospital. Only half of respondents from the Vitkovice hospital consults this problem with a specialist nurse. The larger half of the respondents from the University and City Hospital is interested in acquiring new knowledge, questioning in the Vitkovice hospital had no such interest. Half of the questioned respondents believe that their workplace doesn´t have all the necessary material, most of them feel that it's high cost of modern covering material. Conclusion: Knowledge of wet nurses healing and good separation equipment for wet materials are the basis for successful healing wounds. Nurses specialist who regularly attends seminars, should lead a medical team to the correct procedure for wound healing.
