Abstract:
The present thesis analyzes the work of the contemporary German-Turkish writer Feridun Zaimoglu. The aim of the thesis is to show the development of this author on the basis of the interpretation of his novels Abschaum (1997) and Leyla (2006). Předkládaná diplomová práce analyzuje dílo současného německého spisovatele tureckého původu Feridun Zaimoglu. Cílem práce je ukázat na příkladu románů Abschaum (1997) a Leyla (2006) literární vývoj tohoto autora. Analýza se postupně zaměřuje na tři hlavní oblasti: téma, protagonisté a funkce jazyka.
