Tato diplomová práce se zabývá souvislostí mezi tvorbou biofilmu a přítomností genů ovlivňujících tvorbu biofilmu u bakterií rodu Staphylococcus. Teoretická část práce se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou biofilmu, popisem mikroorganismů tvořících biofilm, riziky biofilmů ve zdravotnictví a faktory ovlivňujícími tvorbu biofilmu, zejména faktory genetickými. This diploma thesis deals with the relationship between biofilm formation and the presence of genes affecting biofilm formation, with a particular focus on the genus Staphylococcus.
