Evaluation of non-profit organization focused on female victims of domestic violence in the Prague region

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo odpovědět na otázku: „Jaká jsou pozitiva a negativa služeb neziskové organizace zabývající se pomocí ženským obětem domácího násilí v pražském regionu“ V první části jsem věnovala pozornost vysvětlení pojmu „domácí násilí“, popisuji jednotlivé definice z pohledů odborníků, zabývám se příčinamy vzniku, dále uvádím jednotlivé druhy a fáze domácího násilí včetně popisu obětí, svědků a pachatele. Druhá část práce obsahuje historický pohled na domácí násilí a navazuje na ni část, která obsahuje způsoby řešení domácího násilí. Čtvrtá část se zabývá procesem poskytování sociálních služeb včetně popisu sociální práce a postavení sociálního pracovníka. V metodologické části je obsaženo zdůvodnění zvolené metody výzkumu. Zvolená byla kvalitativní metoda a použita technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. V poslední části se věnuji samotnému výzkumu a interpretaci dílčích výstupů. Na základě zjištění a dílčích výstupů vyplývající z teoretické části, je v závěru zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to answer the question: „Vhat are the positives and negatives of the services of a non-profit organisation dealing with help to female victims of domestic violance in the Prague region? Tin the first part my attention is devoted to the explanation of the term ?home violance“ depiction of individual definitions from the point of view of experts, I deal with the causes of home violance, its sorts and phases including the depiction of the victims, wittnesses and offenders. The socond part of the thewsis contains a historical view at home violance and is followed by a part containing Ways of solution of home violance. The fourth part deals with the process of providing social services including a depiction of social work, standards of the quality of the social work and the position of a Social worker. The methodological part includes the justification of the chosen methods of the research. The qualitative method has been chosen and the technique of semi-structured conversation has been used. The last part is devoted to the research itself and the interpretation of individual outputs. On the basis of all the findings and individual outputs coming out from the theoretical part the final part answers the main research question.
