Comparison of plantograms based on the podographic and podoscophic methods

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá hodnocením vybraných morfologických parametrů nohy u studentů absolvujících první ročník oborů tělesná výchova, aplikovaná tělesná výchova a rekreologie FTK UP. Ke sběru plantogramů a k analýze morfologických parametrů chodidla byly využity podografická metoda a podoskopická metoda. Stav podélné klenby nožní byl hodnocen na základě metody Chippaux-Šmiřáka (Klementa, 1987). Sledovány byly především diference mezi jednotlivými parametry chodidla v rámci jednotlivých metod a rozdíly z hlediska pohlaví a laterality. Výsledky ukazují, že stav podélné klenby nožní je u většiny studentů prvních ročníků FTK v normě, u žen byl zaznamenán vyšší výskyt vysoké nohy, plochá noha byla diagnostikována ojediněle. Dále byly sledovány deformity předonoží ve smyslu vyosení palce a malíku

Abstract:

This thesis investigates the evaluation of chosen morphologic foot parameters of 1st year students of physical education, adapted physical activities and leisure and outdoor education at the FTK UP. The podographic and podoscopic methods were used to collect the plantograms and to analyse the morphologic parameters. The position of the longitudinal foot arch was assessed by the Chippaux-Šmiřák method (Klementa, 1987). Among the observed characteristics, there were mainly the differences among particular parameters of the foot within the individual methods and differences caused by the sex and laterality. Results show, that the condition of the longitudinal foot arch is within the standard in the majority of 1st year students, however, the higher occurrence of high foot was observed in women, flat foot was diagnosed rarely. Further observed parameters were deformities of forefoot meaning the deformation of the big toe and the little toe
