Cílem této práce je shrnout výhody a nevýhody jednotlivých přístupů k léčbě diäbetu mellitu 1. typu u dětí. Teoretická část práce shrnuje fakta o diabetu mellitu 1. typu, jeho fyziologii, epidemiologii, prevenci, průběhu a především o komplikacích a způsobech léčby. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to summarize advantages and disadvantages of all approaches for the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus by children. The theoretical part of this paper summarïzes facts about type 1 diabetes mellitus – about its physiology, epidemiology, prevention, progress of the illness and especially about complications and approaches for the treatment.
