Family business - strengths and weaknesses

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá silnými a slabými stránkami rodinného podnikání. V úvodní části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy v oblasti rodinného podnikání a je zde popsána historie a význam tohoto podnikání a s ním spojené problémy. Následuje praktická část, ve které je představen zkoumaný rodinný závod, je zde provedena analýza odvětví, ve kterém závod působí a SWOT analýza. Cílem práce je pomocí SWOT analýzy určení silných a slabých stránek závodu s návrhem na odstranění stránek slabých, případně jejich eliminace, včetně možných hrozeb. A také doporučení následných úkonů pro rozvinutí a podporu stránek silných, doprovázející nastíněním cesty pro realizace příležitostí závodu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the strengths and weaknesses of family business. The introductory part of the thesis defines the basic concepts in the field of family business and describes the history and importance of this business and the problems associated with it. The practical part follows, in which the researched family business is introduced, there is an analysis of the industry in which the company operates and a SWOT analysis. The aim of the thesis is to use SWOT analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the company with a proposal to remove the weaknesses, or their elimination, including possible threats. And there are also recommendations for follow-up actions to develop and support strengths, accompanied by outlining the way to realize the company's opportunities.
