Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské diplomové práce je transkripce a překlad díla Paula Hectora Maira: De arte athletica, II. svazek, kapitoly M, N a jejich bližší vysvětlení. Transkripované a překládané kapitoly se zabývají látkou turnajů, jejich technickým popisem, ale i zvyky a pravidly. Pomáhají nám porovnat, ale i dále rozšířit povědomí a znalosti o středověkých rytířských zápasech.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is the transcription and the translation of De arte athletica, volume II., chapter M,N by Paul Hector Mair and its explanation. The chapters, this thesis is focusing on, are looking into the tournaments, their technical description but also customs and principles which are helping us to compare but also broaden awareness and knowledge of medievial tournaments.
