Utilization of Internet Basic Services with e-learning

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Využití základních služeb internetu při e-learningu“ pojednává o problematice využívání moderních informačních a komunikačních technologií v současném školství, převážně však o využití e-learningu v edukačním procesu. Úvod práce je věnován historii internetu, a to nejenom ve světě, ale také v České republice, jeho vzniku, rozvoji a masovému rozšíření ve světě. Následuje kapitola zabývající se informační gramotností, vyučovacími metodami, které využívají moderní informační technologie, a distančním vzděláváním. Logicky na ni navazuje kapitola popisující e-learning, jeho charakteristiku, základní rozdělení, standardy e-learningu a obsah e-learningového kurzu. Součástí této kapitoly je přehled systémů řízení výuky – Learning Management System. Krátké seznámení s LMS Moodle a také s tvorbou kurzu v tomto e-learningovém nástroji je popsáno v následující kapitole. Praktická část se věnuje reálnému využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií nejenom učiteli, ale také samotnými žáky na střední škole.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis “Utilization of Basic Internet Services with E-learning”deals with the issue of using modern information and communication technologies within a current school system, focusing on e-learning utilization in the educational process in particular. The Introductory part is dedicated to the internet history, not only worldwide but also in the Czech Republic, its birth, development and mass expansionall over the world. The following chapter speaks about information literacy, educational methods that make use of up-to-date information technologies, and about distance education. The chapter that logically follows, describes e-learning, its features, basic classification, e-learning standards and e-learning course contents. Apart from this, the chapter brings an overview of Learning Management System. A brief introduction to LMS Moodle together with a course building process within this e-learning tool takes place in the next chapter. The practical part deals with a real-life utilization of information and communication technologies not only by teachers, but also by secondary school students themselves.
