Abstract:

Práce reflektuje dva významné problémy v oboru včelařství, (intoxikaci a parazitární onemocnění včel) a skládá se ze čtyř studií vlastní výzkumné činnosti zaměřující se na výše zmíněnou problematiku. První studie se zabývá možnostmi podpory detoxikace intoxikovaných včel. Ukázalo se, že u intoxikovaných včel suplementace fenolových kyselin a flavonoidů průkazně snižuje úmrtnost a současně vede k vyššímu příjmu potravy. Druhá studie se zabývá testováním rostlinných silic na roztoče včel Varroa destructor. Byl hodnocen varroacidní vliv 30 jednotlivých esenciálních olejů. Nejúčinnější silice byly testovány na včelách spolu s roztoči. Kromě toho byly specifikovány hlavní složky těchto esenciálních olejů. Bylo prokázáno, že silice z manuky, máty, oregána, litsei a skořice působí proti dospělým samičkám roztočů a ve stejné dávce jsou v laboratorních podmínkách bezpečné pro dospělé včely. Třetí studie se zabývá testováním vlivu rostlinných silic a jejich derivátů na parazitickou houbu A. apis a včelu medonosnou. Nejslibnější výsledky byly pozorovány u silice z cedrového dřeva, která vykazovala více jak dvaceti násobnou toxicitu vůči kultuře A. apis oproti včelám. Čtvrtá práce řeší vliv různých faktorů kultivace na dynamiku růstu a tvorbu reprodukčních struktur patogena A. apis. Výsledky naznačují, že optimální podmínky pro kultivaci houby jsou teplota 30 °C a nutričně bohatá média (SDA a YGPSA). Navíc se ukázalo, že dynamika růstu i tvorba reprodukčních struktur je podpořena přidáním včelího plodu do média.

Abstract:

The thesis reflects two important problems in the field of beekeeping (intoxication and parasitic diseases of bees) and consists of four studies of own research activities focusing on the above-mentioned issues. The first study deals with the possibilities of supporting the detoxification of intoxicated bees. It has been shown that in intoxicated bees, supplementation with phenolic acids and flavonoids significantly reduces mortality and at the same time leads to higher food intake. The second study deals with the testing of plant essential oils on the parasitic bee mite Varroa destructor. The varroacid effect of 30 individual essential oils was evaluated. The most effective essential oils have been tested on bees along with mites. In addition, the main components of these essential oils were specified. Manuka, peppermint, oregano, litsei and cinnamon essential oils have been shown to be effective against adult female mites and are safe for adult bees at the same dose under laboratory conditions. The third study deals with testing the effect of plant essential oils and their derivatives on the parasitic fungi A. apis and the honey bee. The most promising results were observed with cedar wood oil, which showed more than twenty times the toxicity to A. apis culture compared to bees. The fourth thesis deals with the influence of various cultivation factors on the growth dynamics and the formation of reproductive structures of A. apis. The results indicate that the optimal conditions for the cultivation of the fungi are a temperature of 30 °C and nutrient-rich media (SDA and YGPSA). In addition, it was shown that the growth dynamics as well as the formation of reproductive structures is the addition of bee brood to the media.
