A System for Climbing Route Marking on a Climbing Wall

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo vytvořit univerzální systém pro vyznačení trasy na lezecké stěně pomocí LED diod. Pro realizaci systému byla vybrána platforma Arduino, konkrétně vývojová deska Arduino Mega2506 + Wifi. K té je připojeno 16 LED diod, které svým rozsvícením vyznačí zadanou trasu. Trasu je možno konfigurovat jak pomocí klávesnice, tak i využitím mobilní aplikace vytvořené ve Frameworku Ionic. Výsledkem práce je systém pro konfiguraci trasy na lezecké stěně. S využitím klávesnice se trasa nastavuje pomocí OLED displeje a šipkových kláves, kterými se pohybujeme po diodách a přidáváme je do trasy. Pokud diodu přidáme do trasy, zůstane svítit. Druhou možností je konfigurace trasy pomocí mobilní aplikace komunikující s řídícím systémem přes Bluetooth rozhraní. Součástí práce je přehledný popis zapojení komponentů a vysvětlení, proč jsou součástky zapojeny tímto způsobem.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to create a universal system for displaying a climbing route on the climbing wall using LEDs. The Arduino platform was chosen for the implementation of the system, specifically the Arduino Mega2506 + Wifi development board. 16 LEDs are connected to it, which light up to mark the specified route. The route can be configured using both the keyboard and the mobile application created in the Ionic Framework. The result of this project is a system for route configuration on a climbing wall. The route is set using the OLED display and arrow keys on keyboard, which move the diodes and add them to the route. If we add a diode to the route, it will stay lit. The second option is to configure the route using a mobile application that communicates with the control system via Bluetooth. Part of the thesis is a clear description of the connection of components and an explanation of why the components are connected in this way.
