Population trends of European mouflon (Ovis aries musimon) in the Czech Republic in 2016-2023

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na porovnání jarních stavů a odstřelu mufloní zvěře mezi jednotlivými kraji České republiky v období let 2016-2023. Cílem studie je identifikovat regionální rozdíly v populaci muflonů a jejich lovu, které mohou být ovlivněny různými ekologickými, sociálními a ekonomickými faktory.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on comparing the spring population sizes and culling rates of mouflon game across different regions of the Czech Republic during the period from 2016 to 2023. The aim of the study is to identify regional differences in the mouflon population and their hunting, which may be influenced by various ecological, social, and economic factors.
