Quality of life of children with spina bifida

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je ?Kvalita života dítěte s rozštěpem páteře?. Hlavním cílem práce je popsat rozštěp páteře a zjistit v jaké míře ovlivňuje samotné postižení kvalitu života. Teoretická část popisuje somatopedii jako speciálně-pedagogickou disciplínu, klasifikaci poruch hybnosti, rozštěp páteře a jeho příčiny vzniku, prevenci vzniku, klasifikaci, terapie a popisuje i kompetence odborníků v multidisciplinární péči, rozebírá a popisuje kompenzační pomůcky, které jsou nesdílnou součástí života dítěte s rozštěpem páteře. V poslední kapitole popisuji kvalitu života, jeho definice, dimenze kvality života a to jaký vliv má rozštěp páteře na kvalitu života. V praktické části byly použity kombinace kvantitativní a kvalitativní metody sběru dat. Pro kvantitativní metodu sběru dat jsem použila dotazník s 28 otázkami, který byl inspirovaný dotazníkem WHOQOL-BREF od Světové zdravotnické organizace. Tento dotazník byl vyplněn 25 respondenty ve věku od 7 do 15 let života. U kvalitativní metody sběru dat byl použit polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který byl proveden s jednou respondentkou ve věku 15 let. Rozhovor obsahoval 20 otevřených otázek.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is the "Quality of life of a child with spina bifida." The main goal of this work is to describe spina bifida and determine the extent to which disability affects the very quality of life. The theoretical part describes somatic as specially-educational discipline, classification, movement disorders, spina bifida and its causes, prevention, classification, therapy and also describes experts' competence in multidisciplinary care, analyzes and describes the assistive devices that are severally part of the life of a child with a cleft spine. The last chapter describes the quality of life, its definition, dimensions of quality of life and the impact it has spina bifida quality of life In the practical part a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection. For quantitative data collection method I used a questionnaire with 28 questions, which was inspired by the WHOQOL -BREF questionnaire from the World Health Organization. This questionnaire was completed by 25 respondents aged 7 to 15 years of life. For qualitative data collection methods used semi-structured interview was conducted with one respondent aged 15 years. The interview included 20 open-ended questions.
