Speech development of children with hearing impairment through didactic games and exercises

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována rozvoji řeči u dětí se sluchovým postižením prostřednictvím didaktických her a cvičení. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou sluchového postižení a komunikací osob se sluchovým postižením. Dále jsou zde popsány možnosti výchovy a vzdělávání dětí a žáků se sluchovým postižením včetně možnosti integrace. V praktické části je definován hlavní cíl výzkumného šetření, který zjišťuje, zda materiály, využívané logopedy v mateřské škole pro děti se sluchovým postižením, rozvíjí řeč u dětí se sluchovým postižením. Na základě výzkumné činnosti vzniklo pět případových studií popisující rozvoj řeči u jednotlivých dětí a analýzy aplikovaných her a cvičení. Výzkum se zabývá i dalšími faktory jako je výběr komunikačního systému nebo vliv školního a rodinného prostředí na rozvoj řeči.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the speech development of children with hearing impairment through didactic games and exercises. The theoretical part deals with hearing impairment and communication of people with hearing disabilities. There are also described possibilities of education of children and pupils with hearing impairment including the possibility of integration. In the practical part there is defined the main aim of research survey. This finds out whether the materials used by speech therapists in kindergarten for children with hearing impairment develop the speech of children with hearing impairment. Based on research activities were created five case studies describing the speech development of children and analysis of applied games and exercises. The research deals with other factors such as the selection of the communication system or the influence of school and family environment on the development of speech.
