The Written Production in Textbooks German as Foreign Language: Preparation for State School-leaving Exams: The Analysis

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the textbook series Direkt neu 1 with special focus on how the skill of "creative writing" is being developed and practiced and how are the learners being prepared for the state part of final exams. The theoretical background for the analysis, Czech educational system and final exams, text types and the skill of "creative writing" are introduced in the theoretical part. The textbooks are analyzed in the practical part of this thesis. With the use of quantitative analysis are the writing tasks added up and divided according to their type. With the use of qualitative analysis are the writing tasks divided according to their text type and evaluated on the grounds of given criteria.

Abstract:

Das Hauptziel der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit besteht darin, eine Lehrwerkanalyse der Lehrwerke Direkt neu 1 durchzuführen, mit Hinsicht darauf, wie in dieser Lehrwerken die Fertigkeit freies Schreiben entwickelt und geübt wird und wie die Schüler zum staatlichen Teil des Abiturs vorbereitet werden. Im theoretischen Teil der Arbeit werden theoretische Grundlage der Lehrwerkanalyse, des tschechischen Ausbildungssystems und Abiturs, der Textsorte und der Fertigkeit das freie Schreiben vorgestellt. In dem praktischen Teil der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Lehrwerke analysiert. In der quantitativen Analyse werden die Übungen zusammengezählt und nach ihrem Typ eingeteilt. In der qualitativen Analyse werden die Schreibübungen nach den Textsorten angeordnet und nach bestimmten Kriterien bewertet.
