The purpose of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the adoption of regulatory impact assessment (RIA) used in law procedures in three countries of Europe. The selected countries for this study are: Italy, as an old European Union country; Czech Republic, as a country which has been joining European Union in the recent years; and Albania which is not part of European Union yet.
