Reality, Violence and Literature in the Historia de la monja alférez - Catalina de Erauso
Abstract:
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is analyze the supposed biography of Catalina de Erauso and compare it with testimonials about her life. We will highlight the key moments and we will mention discrepancies in the biography. We will study the transvestism of women in the seventeenth century and the use of transvestism as the literary device.
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat údajnou biografii Cataliny de Erauso a porovnat ji s důkazy o jejím životě. Zdůrazníme klíčové momenty a zmíníme nesrovnalosti v biografii. Budeme také studovat transvestitismus žen v sedmnáctém století a využití transvestitismus jako literárního prvku.
