Práce popisuje systémy pro rekuperaci kinetické energie, energetickou bilanci vozidla, krátkou historii KERS, druhy, princip činnosti, parametry a jejich výhody a nevýhody. Práce je zaměřena hlavně na typ se setrvačníkem. Ten je popsán detailněji z hlediska energie, konstrukce, dimenzování, uložení a přenosu energie. This thesis describes Kinetic Energy Recovery System, the energy balance of the vehicle, a short history of KERS, the types, the principle of operation, the parameters and advantages and disadvantages.
