Folk traditions and customs in modern kindergartens

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá současným zařazováním lidových tradic a zvyků do předškolního vzdělávání. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak jsou lidové tradice a zvyky používány v předškolním vzdělávání. V teoretické části jsou nejprve popsány lidové tradice a zvyky obecně, jejich původ, význam v současně době a jsou charakterizovány etnografické regiony v České republice. Druhá část práce mapuje lidové tradice a zvyky v předškolním vzdělávání, kdy je charakterizován předškolní věk, mateřská škola a zařazení lidových tradic a zvyků do předškolního vzdělávání. Třetí část práce se věnuje lidovým tradicím a zvykům, tak jak jdou za sebou v rámci kalendářního roku a ročních období, tedy jarním (vynášení Mařeny, Velikonoce, Filipojakubská noc), letním (Svatojánská noc, sklizeň), podzimním (Dušičky, sv. Martin) a zimním (Mikuláš, Vánoce, Tři králové, Nový rok a masopust). Praktická část obsahuje kvantitativní průzkum, který je proveden mezi učitelkami mateřských škol. K průzkumu je využita metoda dotazování, dotazník je následně vyhodnocen. Z průzkumu vyplynulo, že lidové tradice a zvyky jsou v současné mateřské škole pedagogy hojně využívány. Největší zájem pedagogů je o lidové tradice, jež jsou spojeny s Vánocemi, Mikulášem a Velikonocemi. Lidové tradice jsou využívány jak pedagogy ve městech, tak na vesnicích. Pedagogové hledají inspiraci na internetu, v televizi nebo ve vlastních zkušenostech, neúčastní se žádného vzdělávání v této oblasti, protože o nich nevědí. Přínosem práce je zjištění, že zájem o lidové tradice a zvyky mezi pedagogy existuje, ale v této oblasti se většina z nich nevzdělává, protože žádnou nabídku v oblasti dalšího vzdělávání nezná. Bylo by vhodné, kdyby nabídka DVPP s tímto tématem byla MŠ více nabízena, protože dle názoru pedagogů má zařazování lidových tradic a zvyků vliv na budování vztahu ke kultuře a vytváření postojů a hodnot.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with current inclusion of folk traditions and customs in preschool education. The aim of the thesis is to find out how folk traditions and customs are used in preschool education. The theoretical part first describes folk traditions and customs in general, their origin, their importance in contemporary times and characterizes ethnographic regions in the Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis maps folk traditions and customs in preschool education, where the preschool age, kindergarten and the inclusion of folk traditions and customs in preschool education are characterized. The third part of the thesis is devoted to folk traditions and customs as they follow the calendar year and the seasons, i.e. spring (Maren's Feast, Easter, St. Philip's Night), summer (St. John's Night, harvest), autumn (Soulstice, St. Martin) and winter (St. Nicholas, Christmas, Three Kings, New Year and Mardi Gras). The practical part includes a quantitative survey conducted among kindergarten teachers. A questionnaire method is used for the survey and the questionnaire is then evaluated. The survey showed that folk traditions and customs are widely used by teachers in the current kindergarten. Teachers are most interested in folk traditions associated with Christmas, St Nicholas and Easter. Folk traditions are used by teachers both in towns and villages. Educators look for inspiration on the internet or in their own experiences, they do not participate in any training in this area because they do not know about them. The contribution of the thesis is the finding that there is an interest in folk traditions and customs among teachers, but most of them are not educated in this area because they do not know any offer in the field of further education. It would be advisable if the offer of DVPP with this topic was offered more to the kindergartens, because in the opinion of the teachers, the inclusion of folk traditions and customs has an impact on building a relationship with culture and creating attitudes and values.
