Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci je porovnáván holštýnský skot s českým strakatým skotem z hlediska komplikací během porodu a puerperia. V práci je popsána problematika porodů a šestinedělí těchto plemen. Dále se práce zabývá charakteristikou a historií plemen a aktuálním stavem chovů těchto plemen v České republice. Na základě údajů, které byly získány ze dvou vybraných zemědělských podniků, byly vyhodnoceny a porovnány komplikace porodů a puerperia a také vyhodnoceny vybrané vlivy, které mohou průběh porodu anebo puerperia ovlivnit. Bylo zjištěno, že plemena se ve výskytu komplikací lišila. Holštýnský skot vykazoval vyšší výskyt metritid (23,7 %), zatímco u českého strakatého skotu se vyskytovalo více dystokií (9 %). Pohlaví telat, výskyt dvojčat a pořadí otelení měly značný vliv na průběh porodu a puerperia. Zemědělským podnikům bylo doporučeno věnovat vyšší pozornost prevenci těžkých porodů a zaměřit se na výživu jalovic před a po porodu, aby se snížil výskyt porodních a poporodních komplikací.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis Holstein cattle are compared with Czech Fleckvieh cattle in terms of complications during parturition and puerperium. The thesis describes the issues of parturition and puerperium in these breeds. The thesis also describes the characterization, breeds' history and the actual status of husbandries of these breeds in the Czech Republic. Based on data which were taken from two agricultural husbandries, complications of parturition and puerperium were evaluated and compared, and selected influences that may influence the progress of parturition or puerperium were also evaluated. It was discovered that breeds were different in the incidence of complications. Holstein cattle had higher incidence of metritis (23.7 %), while Czech Fleckvieh cattle had higher incidence of dystocia (9 %). The sex of calves, the incidence of twins and parity had an appreciable effect on the progress of delivery and puerperium. Farms were advised to focus more attention on prevention of calving difficulty and focus on nutrition of heifers before and after calving to reduce the incidence of parturient and postpartum complications.
