Chronická lymfatická leukémie (CLL) je nejrozšířenějším typem leukémie vyskytujícím se u dospělých v Evropě a v Severní Americe. Významným znakem CLL buněk je jejich silná závislost na nádorovém mikroprostředí, kde CLL buňky získávají signály podporující jejich proliferaci, přežívání či rezistenci k protinádorové terapii. B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) is the most common adult leukaemia in the western world. Characteristic feature of CLL is its deep dependence on the tumor microenvironment, which provides malignant B-cells with supportive signals that are believed to be important for the onset, progression, and also incurability of this disease.
