Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o modernizaci gotického hororu v současné televizní a filmové tvorbě, která je analyzována na příkladu seriálu The Haunting of Hill House. Shrnuje historický vývoj gotického hororu, analyzuje komplexní časové vztahy ve vyprávění seriálu a zkoumá jejich proměnu oproti klasickým gotickým dílům.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the modernization of gothic horror in contemporary film and television, which is analyzed in the television show The Haunting of Hill House. It summarizes historical evolution of gothic horror, analyzes complex temporal relations in the storytelling of the show and examines their transformation compared to classical gothic artworks.
