Waterworks of Rajhrad and their potential for social and recreational use

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá studiem potenciálu vodních děl města Rajhrad pro sociálně-rekreační využití. Tato práce je členěna do dvou částí. První část práce se zabývá řešenou problematikou, zahrnující výklad souvisejících termínů. V druhé části je identifikace a popis šesti vodních děl, která se ve městě Rajhrad nachází. Práce je také doplněna o dotazníkové šetření, které bylo poskytnuto návštěvníkům vodních děl. Z výsledku šetření vyplývá, že vybraná vodní díla mají vysoký potenciál pro sociálně-rekreační využití. Jednou z hlavních rolí v tomto ohledu hraje široká škála aktivit, které lze v jejich bezprostřední blízkosti provozovat. Další roli v tomto ohledu hraje estetická hodnota vodních děl a jejich okolí. Největší potenciál využití vybraných vodních děl v Rajhradě je pro ženy z věkové struktury 25-39 let, které navštěvují vodní díla s dětmi nebo rodinou za účelem procházky. Z řešených vodních děl má největší potenciál pro sociálně-rekreační využití rybník Za Starou pilou.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the study of the potential of the waterworks of the city of Rajhrad for social and recreational use. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of the thesis deals with the problem under consideration, including an explanation of the related terms. The second part is the identification and description of six water works located in the city of Rajhrad. The thesis is also supplemented by a questionnaire survey which was given to the visitors of the waterworks. The result of the survey shows that the selected waterworks have high potential for social and recreational use. One of the main roles in this aspect is played by the wide range of activities that can be carried out in their immediate vicinity. Another role in this aspect is played by the aesthetic value of the waterworks and their surroundings. The greatest potential for use of the selected waterworks in Rajhrad is for women in the age structure of 25-39 years who visit the waterworks with their children or family for walking. Of the waterworks addressed, the fishpond Za Starou pilou has the greatest potential for social and recreational use.
