Collage in the arts of Karel Teige and Jiří Kolář
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na kolážovou tvorbu v českém výtvarném umění ve 20. století. Hlavní část práce sleduje tvorbu Karla Teigeho a Jiřího Koláře. Karel Teige tvořil surrealistické koláže převážně ve 30. a 40.letech. Zatímco Jiří Kolář ve 2. polovině 20. století rozvinul nové techniky koláže. Práce těchto dvou autorů budou mezi sebou porovnávány.
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis focuses on collages in Czech art of the 20th century. Main part of the work follows the work of Karel Teige and Jiří Kolář. Karel Teige produced surrealistic collages in the 1930s and in the 1940s. Jiří Kolář developed new techniques of collage in the second half of the 20th century. Art works of both above mentioned artists will be compared.
