Abstract:

Předložená práce se věnuje rodícímu se vztahu a následnému uzavření manželského svazku dvou příslušníků vysoké historické šlechty v českém prostředí - Terezii (roz. Kinské) a Siegfriedovi Clary-Aldringenovi. Cílem práce je zkoumání tohoto konkrétního sňatku a na jeho základě ukázat projevy a specifika šlechty jako určité sociální skupiny druhé poloviny 19. století, kdy dochází k proměně elit a sňatek je nejen tradičním nástrojem rodinné strategie, ale stává se i disciplinačním nástrojem celé sociální skupiny. Práce sleduje tak půlroční období v jejich životě (prosinec 1884 - červen 1885) před jejich sňatkem a po něm. Nahlíží tak na vzájemný vztah snoubenců, resp. manželů v dobovém historickém kontextu a s přihlédnutím ke specifikům šlechtické mentality druhé poloviny 19. století. Práce tak poukazuje, zda byly dodrženy obvyklé požadavky šlechty 19. století v oblasti sňatkové politiky, především princip rovnorodosti. Lze nastolit též otázku, zda se jednalo o tzv. sňatek z rozumu nebo z lásky. V další rovině chce předkládaná bakalářská práce sledovat rodinné strategie dvou významných historických rodů. Pokusí se přiblížit mentalitu a životní styl šlechty 19. století a lépe tak rozhodnout, zda zmíněné manželství konvenovalo s dobovou praxí. A naopak - na příkladu sňatku doloží specifika a projevy sledované sociální skupiny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the beginning of the relationship and marriage of two members of Czech high nobility Terezia (maiden name Kinská) and Siegfried Clary-Aldringen. I tis mapping less than a six months in their life (december of 1884 - june of 1885) a period before their marriage and after. The main goal of this thesis is a research on this particular marriage and to show specifics of nobility in the second period of 19th century. The thesis is focusing on a mutual relationship of two betrotheds - married couple and on specifics of mentality of nobility in the contemporary historical context in the second period of 19th century. The thesis is also focusing if they respected common demands of nobility in the ambit of marriage policy. Primarily on a principal of uniformity. The other raised question is, if it was a marriage of convenience or marriage of love. In the other part the theses focuses on family strategies of these two important historical nobel families. It is trying show mentality and lifestyle of nobility of 19th century and it tries to show, if the marriage respected contemporary practice.
