Managing Stresfull Situation with an Agressive Patient in ICU and Standard Department

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem agresivních pacientů ve zdravotnictví a zvládání těchto situací zdravotnickým personálem. V teoretické části jsou přiblíženy pojmy, jako agresivní pacient, agrese, stresové situace a zvládání stresových situací. Zabýváme se zde také ošetřovatelskou péčí o agresivního paci-enta. Pro praktickou část jsme vytvořili otázky a poté jsme je použili v rozhovorech. Tyto byly prováděny se všeobecnými sestrami, které pracují na standardním oddělení a JIP. Výsledky jsou zaznamenány ve výsledcích a úkolech práce. Cílem šetření bylo zjistit, jak sestry zvlá-dají tyto nepříjemné situace a jak se s nimi vyrovnávají. Pro praxi byl vytvořen materiál, jak správně jednat s pacienty, kteří jsou verbálně nebo fy-zicky agresivní a jaké zásady dodržovat při práci s nimi.

Abstract:

This thesis is inquiring into problem treatment with aggressive patient in health care and it describes how the medical staffs are able to manage with this problem. In theoretical section were explained terms as aggressive patient, aggression, stressful si-tuation and managing with stressful situations. We are looking into nursing care for aggres-sive patient. We had make questions for practical section, which we had use in interviews with nursing staff. We had been asking nurses, who works in standard section and ICU. Results are taken down in outcomes of thesis and thesis assignments. We were trying to figure out how nurses are able to deal with this uncomfortable situations and how they become reconciled to it. We had created material with information, how nurses have to deal with patient, who is verbally or physical aggressive in the right way.
