Adult Education as a Way to Social Inclusion in the Context of the Programme for Social Inclusion Ostrava 2011-2020

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si pokládá za cíl odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jaké jsou očekávané přínosy oblasti vzdělávání v programu Sociální inkluze Ostrava 2011 2020?“ Pro zodpovězení otázky se v první, teoretické, části bakalářské práce zaměřuji na definici konceptů vzdělání dospělých, sociální inkluze a sociální exkluze v souvislosti se soudobou společností. Druhá část pojednává o metodologii výzkumu, kde popisuji postupy, které jsem v rámci kvalitativního výzkumu zvolila a jejich možná omezení. Třetí, empirická, část se věnuje charakteristice programu Sociální inkluze a interpretaci výsledků výzkumu v porovnání s teoretickými východisky této práce. Nakonec, v závěru práce, činím shrnutí teorie, výsledků výzkumu a doporučení realizátorům. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že hlavním přínosem Programu v oblasti vzdělávání dospělých je vyšší vzdělání v návaznosti na zaměstnanost. Myšlenka programu Sociální inkluze spojující v rámci třech pilířů vzdělávání, zaměstnanosti a bydlení různé partnery je dobrá a svou oporou v městu jedinečná. Na druhou stranu mohou tyto dva aspekty způsobovat i jistá omezení, se kterými si budou muset realizátoři Programu ve jménu zvýšení jeho efektivnosti poradit.

Abstract:

The object of this bachelor thesis is to answer the main research question of this thesis: “What are the expected contributions in the area of education in the Programme for Social Inclusion Ostrava 2011-2020?” In order to answer the main research question, I focus on the concept definition of adult education, social inclusion and social exclusion in respect to modern society in the theoretical part of this thesis. I dedicate the second part to research methodology where I describe the qualitative research processes I have chosen and their possible limits. The empirical part deals with the characteristics of the Programme for Social Inclusion Ostrava 2011-2020 and the interpretation of the research results in comparison with the theoretical solutions of this thesis. Finally, I include the summary of the theory, research results and the recommendation to the Programme implementers in the Conclusion. From the research it follows that the main contribution of the Programme in the area of adult education is higher education in relation to employment. The idea of the Programme for Social Inclusion connecting many different partners within the three pillars of education, employment and housing is good and unique in its support by the city. On the other hand, these two aspects can also cause some limitations with which the Programme implementers will have to deal with in the name of increasing efficiency.
