Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Výhody a nevýhody přijetí společné měny euro v České republice na příkladu Slovinska“ se zabývá stanovením výhod a nevýhod plynoucích ze zavedení eura v ČR na základě zkušenostní Slovinska. Práce uvádí strategii ČR při zavádění eura, zvoleným scénářem pro přechod na euro, načasováním zavedení eura v ČR, zhodnocením připravenosti ČR na vstup do eurozóny, Slovinskem a jeho zkušenostmi se zavedením eura a porovnáním vývoje v ČR a ve Slovinsku. Práce je napsána z důvodu aktuálnosti tématu a potřeby zhodnotit současný vývoj v ČR, její přípravy na vstup do eurozóny a inspirací u téměř bezproblémového přechodu na euro ve Slovinsku. Závěrem je uvedeno naplnění všech stanovených cílů práce, tj. možný vývoj v ČR po zavedení eura – dočasné zvýšení cenové hladiny, zpomalení ekonomického růstu, odstranění kurzových rizik, transakčních nákladů, zvýšení cenové transparentnosti, dopad ztráty měnové politiky a riziko asymetrických šoků.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Advantages and disadvantages of the receiving of the common currency euro in the Czech Republic in the example of Slovenia" deals with the advantages and disadvantages resulting from the implementation of euro in the Czech Republic on the basis of Slovenian experience. The thesis indicates the strategy of introducing the euro in the CR, the chosen scenario for the changeover to the euro, the timing of the introduction of the euro in the CR, the evaluation of readiness of CR to join the euro area, deals with Slovenia and its experience with the introduction of the euro and with comparison of the development in the CR and Slovenia. The work is written because of the recency of this theme and the need to evaluate current developments in the CR, with its preparations to join the euro area and with the inspiration of almost a troublefree changeover to the euro in Slovenia. In the end, the fulfilment of all aims of this thesis is stated, ie the possible advancement in the CR after the implementation of the euro - a temporary increase in the price level, slowing down of economic growth, elimination of exchange rate risks, transaction costs, increasing of price transparency, the impact of loss of monetary policy and the risk of asymmetric shocks.
