Abstract:

ORINČÁK, Lukáš, Bc: Congress tourism and hotels, Master´s Dissertation, The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague 8, Ltd., Prague 2019, 110 pages The thesis analyzed congress tourism. The work focused on the characteristics of CT, its functions and specifics. Marginally, incentive tourism and the congress tourism market have been brought closer to the market. Furthermore, the work was devoted to traditional and less traditional spaces and facilities where CT events are held. Subsequently, the thesis described and classified congress events and also pointed to international organizations active in the field of CT. In the practical part, the work focused on the analysis of two hotels that operate in CT using the survey results for this work. In conclusion, the thesis deals with the needs of the organizers, but also with the participants of the CT and with proposals for operational and economic measures that could be used in practice.

ORINČÁK, Lukáš, Bc: Kongresový cestovný ruch a hotely, Diplomová práca, Vysoká škola hotelová v Prahe 8,spol.s.r.o, Praha 2019, 110 strán Diplomová práca analyzovala kongresový cestovný ruch. Práca sa zameriavala na charakteristiku KCR, na jeho funkcie a na špecifiká. Okrajovo bol spomenutý incentívny cestovný ruch a priblížený trh kongresového cestovného ruchu a subjekty, ktoré pôsobia na tomto trhu. Ďalej sa práca venovala tradičným a menej tradičným priestorom a zariadeniam, v ktorých sa usporadúvajú akcie KCR. Následne diplomová práca charakterizovala a klasifikovala kongresové akcie a poukázala aj na medzinárodné organizácie činné v oblasti KCR. V praktickej časti sa práca zameriavala na analýzu dvoch hotelov, ktoré pôsobia v KCR pomocou výsledkov prieskumu k tejto práci. V závere sa diplomová práca venovala potrebám organizátorov, ale aj účastníkov KCR a návrhom na prevádzkové a ekonomické opatrenia, ktoré by sa dali využiť v praxi.
