Psychology of Classic American Film Noirs of 1940s and 50s
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis aims to discover what unites the analyzed films noir of the 1940s and 1950s, both from an aesthetic and psychological point of view and how women, or "femme fatales," are portrayed in them. The films Double Indemnity (1944) and Kiss Me Deadly (1955) will be among the analyzed examples.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl zjistit, co spojuje analyzované film noir 40. a 50. let, jak z estetického, tak z psychologického hlediska a jakým způsobem jsou v nich vyobrazovány ženy, neboli "femme fatale." Mezi analyzovanými snímky budou filmy Double Indemnity (1944) a Kiss Me Deadly (1955).
