Diploma thesis provides an overview of the possibilities of pension savings in Slovakia, points out the advantages and disadvantages of savings in individual pillars. On the basis of theoretical knowledge about this problematic, we performed an analysis in the pension system in Slovakia and an assessment of the use of pension saving from clients. Diplomová práca prináša prehľad o možnostiach dôchodkového sporenia na území SR, poukazuje na výhody a nevýhody sporenia v jednotlivých pilieroch. Na základe teoretic-kých poznatkov skúmanej problematiky bola uskutočnená analýza v oblasti dôchodkového sporenia v podmienkach SR a zhodnotenie využívania dôchodkového sporenia zo strany klientov.
