Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo přiblížit úlohu zdravotnického tlumočníka. Nejdříve je vysvětleno, co profese tlumočení obnáší a je popsána historie vzniku této aktivity. Dále je hned v několika oblastech poukázáno na rozdíly, které jsou mezi tlumočením a překladem.
