Comparison of social insurance of employees and the self-employed in Czech republic

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je komparace sociálního pojištění zaměstnanců a OSVČ v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje sociálnímu zabezpečení obecně. Ve druhé kapitole jsou rozebrány jednotlivé druhy pojištění z pohledu zaměstnanců a ve třetí kapitole z pohledu OSVČ. Ve čtvrté kapitole je prezentována komparace pojištění pro oba subjekty a v páté kapitole se nachází celkové zhodnocení a návrhy de lege ferenda. Cílem práce je provést systematické porovnání a zhodnocení pojistných systémů pro oba subjekty a upozornit na odlišnosti a totožnosti obou systémů. Druhým cílem je navrhnout dílčí změny v právní úpravě pojištění na straně OSVČ nebo na straně zaměstnanců, případně u obou subjektů, aby se vyrovnaly podmínky pro oba subjekty. Změny vycházejí z předchozí komparace a z rozdílností, na které bylo upozorněno.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the comparison of social insurance of employees and self-employed in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about social security in general. The second one analyses the various types of insurance from the perspective of employees and from the perspective of the self-employed in the third part. The fourth chapter presents a comparison of the insurance for both subjects, and the fifth chapter summarizes the social security and proposes suggestions de lege ferenda. The aim of the thesis is to make a systematic comparison and evaluation of insurance systems for both subjects and to highlight the diversity and identity of both systems. The second aim is to propose changes in insurance legislation for each one or for both subjects, to equalize the conditions for both subjects. Changes are based on a previous comparison and on the differences, which were highlighted.
