The Picture of Prague in Jakub Arbes´ Prose
Abstract:
Tato práce se zaobírá obrazem Prahy ve vybraných prózách Jakuba Arbese. V úvodní části je zachycen Arbesův vztah k Praze. Hlavní část práce je vystavěna na podrobné analýze městského prostoru. Na Prahu je zde nahlíženo ve dvou rovinách, mysteriózní a realistické. Jednotlivé kapitoly přibližují městské interiéry a exteriéry, dále pojednávají o způsobech bydlení, obživy a dopravy. Abstract:
The main aim/purpose of this bachelor thesis is the theme of the city of Prague in Jakub Arbes´ prose. The depiction of Jakub Arbes attitude to this city occurs in the beginning of the thesis. The main part is focused on detailed analysis of the city space whereas Prague is seen in two points of view: mysterious and realistic.
