Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výkonností ekonomiky ve státech Visegrádské skupiny, mezi které patří Česká republika, Maďarsko, Polsko a Slovensko. Cílem práce je posoudit a porovnat výkonnosti jednotlivých ekonomik mezi lety 2010 až 2020 a následně vytvořit predikci vývoje hodnot základních makroekonomických ukazatelů. Úvodní část tvoří představení těchto ukazatelů, zahrnujících hrubý domácí produkt, inflaci, nezaměstnanost a platební bilanci. Součástí práce jsou také teoretická východiska vztahující se k problematice časových řad. Na základě získaných dat ze Statistického úřadu Evropské unie byla provedena analýza výkonnosti ekonomiky dle jednotlivých národohospodářských ukazatelů. Hodnoty ukazatelů, doplněné o hodnoty za průměry Visegrádské skupiny a Evropské unie, byly porovnávány mezi jednotlivými ekonomikami. Predikce vývoje výkonnosti ekonomiky zahrnuje odhad budoucích hodnot makroekonomických ukazatelů prostřednictvím extrapolace jednotlivých časových řad. Výsledkem závěrečné části je sestrojení magického čtyřúhelníku pro rok 2023 na základě predikovaných hodnot jednotlivých ukazatelů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the economic performance of the Visegrad Group countries, which include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The aim of the thesis is to assess and compare the performance of each economy between 2010 and 2020 and then to make a forecast of the evolution of the values of basic macroeconomic indicators. The introductory part consists of an introduction of these indicators, including gross domestic product, inflation, unemployment and balance of payments. The theoretical foundations related to time series issues are also included. On the basis of the data obtained from the Statistical Office of the European Union, an analysis of the performance of the economy according to the individual economic indicators was carried out. The values of the indicators, supplemented by the values for the averages of the Visegrad Group and the European Union, were compared between the individual economies. Forecasting the development of economic performance involves estimating future values of macroeconomic indicators by extrapolating individual time series. The final part results in the construction of a magic quadrangle for 2023 based on the predicted values of individual indicators.
