The Teacher Training for Kindergartens - Benefits of Study for Life

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na studium učitelství pro mateřské školy a jeho přínosy pro život. V první kapitole teoretické části, představuji tento obor a jeho studium na Ostravské univerzitě, jaké jsou podmínky přijetí, uplatnění po škole, jeho benefity a předměty, díky kterým jsem získala největší přínosy do života. V druhé kapitole představuji osobnost učitele podle profilu absolventa, tedy mě samotné, dále osobnost předškolního pedagoga podle profilu učitele a kdo je to vlastně učitel. Ve třetí kapitole jsem se zaměřila na zahraniční studium předškolního a elementárního vzdělávání, kde jsem se soustředila na Prešovskou univerzitu a zkoumala, jak zde studium probíhá. Empirická část navazuje na teoretickou a věnuje se možným přínosům studia. Pomocí kvantitativní metody byl rozeslán dotazník pracovníkům mateřských škol. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda absolventům přineslo jejich studium přínosy do života a praxe. Výsledky byly zpracovány a vyšlo, že většina dotázaných pedagogů mateřských škol, své studium hodnotí za přínosné, ale i tak jsou zde mezery, které by měly být napraveny k nejlepším přínosům všech absolventů. Jedná se především o pocitu nedostatku školní praxe. Téma práce i její výsledky mohou být velkým přínosem pro školy, zaměřené na pedagogiku, a především na předškolní vzdělávání z toho důvodu, že díky výzkumu je možné zjistit jisté nedostatky studia a jejich možné nápravě. Také tato práce může být přínosem pro studenty, kteří se chtějí dozvědět více o tomto oboru.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the study of teaching for kindergartens and its benefits for life. In the first chapter, I present this field and its study at the University of Ostrava, what are the conditions of admission, application after school, its benefits and the subjects, thanks to which I gained the greatest benefits in life. In the second chapter, I present the personality of the teacher according to the profile of the graduate, i.e. myself, and the personality of the pre-school teacher according to the profile of the teacher and who the teacher actually is. In the third chapter, I focused on the study abroad of pre-school and elementary education, where I focused on the University of Prešov and researched how the study is conducted there. The empirical part builds on the theoretical part and focuses on the possible benefits of the study. Using a quantitative method, a questionnaire was sent out to kindergarten staff. The aim was to find out whether the graduates had benefited from their studies in their life and practice. The results were compiled and it came out that most of the respondent kindergarten teachers, rate their studies as beneficial, but there are still gaps that should be remedied to the best benefit of all graduates. These are mainly the perceived lack of school experience. The topic of the thesis and its results can be of great benefit to schools of education, and especially early childhood education, for the reason that through research it is possible to identify certain gaps in the study and how they can be rectified. Also, this thesis can be beneficial for students who want to learn more about this field.
